Absolutely Productions, also known as Absolutely Productions Ltd, is a privately owned British media production company headquartered in London, England. Founded in 1988, the company originated from a collective of eight writer-performer-producers: Morwenna Banks, Jack Docherty, Moray Hunter, Pete Baikie, John Sparkes, and Gordon Kennedy, who comprised the cast of the Channel 4 sketch comedy series Absolutely. Under the executive leadership of managing director Gordon Kennedy, the studio has transitioned from a creative vehicle for its founders into a mainstream independent production house. It specializes in content rights, developing and producing comedy and drama. The company services major UK public and commercial broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, and ITV, and maintains a presence in public radio broadcasting.
