Actia Engineering Services, also known as ACTIA Group S.A., is a publicly owned company founded in 2005 with headquarters in Tunisia. Employing approximately 710 people, the company's primary business is software development. However, ACTIA Group's broader operations encompass the design, manufacturing, and operation of electronic systems for management within various sectors, including automotive, aeronautics, railway, telecommunications, and energy.
On October 4-9, 2025, at Busworld 2025 in Brussels, Actia presented the Tactil 13 "MAX", a new 13-inch passenger touchscreen. Also at Busworld Europe 2025, Actia introduced the BOP G5/Hypervision platform, a fifth-generation connected onboard video surveillance system for public transport. Actia supports bus and coach manufacturers in transitioning to software-defined vehicles (SDV), offering a turnkey SDV solution. In a separate announcement on an unspecified date in 2025, Actia reported a loss in the first half of the year, citing poor performance in the Mobility Division and taxes, while also providing a revenue outlook for the remainder of the year.
