This followed an earlier, separate $800,000 CAD contract awarded to Advantech Wireless Technologies Inc. for the same project. On September 16, 2025, a US-based system integrator placed a CDN$665,000 purchase order with Advantech Wireless Technologies Inc. for 200W outdoor S-band gallium nitride (GaN) solid-state power amplifiers (SSPA). Additionally, Advantech Wireless Technologies Inc. received a $1 million order for a pair of amplifier systems to support a cislunar communications network for the Artemis Moon Exploration Program.
