On June 19, 2026, the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) launched the free Official IPMX Training Series, an online program hosted at training.ipmx.io that guides Pro AV professionals through the design and deployment of IPMX-based AV-over-IP systems. The curriculum's first Foundations chapters are currently available, with the remaining Systems and Networks modules slated for fall and winter. Previously, on May 14, AIMS announced its focus on IPMX education at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas from June 13-19, with Andrew Starks and Samuel Recine leading two education sessions. This followed the IP Showcase at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 18-22, where AIMS, in collaboration with the Advanced Media Workflow Association and the Video Services Forum, highlighted IPMX's transition from specification to real-world deployment for broadcast and Pro AV workflows. Earlier, on February 23, AIMS, alongside the Video Services Forum, Advanced Media Workflow Association, and the European Broadcasting Union, announced the certification of 48 products to the Internet Protocol Media Experience standard at ISE 2026, following a Product Testing and Certification Event in Geneva, Switzerland.
