News Summary:

The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) developed the open standard IPMX (Internet Protocol Media Experience) to address the need for low-latency AV-over-IP workflows in the pro AV industry, improving real-time performance for applications such as live events, sports broadcasts, corporate presentations, and interactive education. IPMX enables AV-over-IP workflows with flexibility and scalability, transforming live event production. AIMS also works to promote interoperability in AV-over-IP workflows by dismantling barriers created by proprietary systems and fragmented standards. On August 13, 2025, AIMS, along with the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) and the Video Services Forum (VSF), announced the schedule for a full IP Showcase on the Water presentation during IBC2025. This free event will be held on September 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
