Concurrently, Al Ahly is exploring strengthening their squad for the upcoming January transfer window, with Mauritanian striker Idrissa Thiam, currently playing for Al Mokawloon Al Arab, identified as a priority target, a move supported by head coach Hussein Ammouta.
