Albion Football Club, a privately owned entity headquartered in Uruguay, was founded in 1891 and operates with approximately 50 employees. Albion Football Club is a Uruguayan football club located in Montevideo that currently plays in the Liga AUF Uruguaya. It holds the distinction of being the oldest football club in Uruguay. In July 2018, Albion became a member of the Club of Pioneers, a worldwide association recognizing the world's oldest football clubs, as the oldest active football club in Uruguay. The club returned to the Primera División after winning the 2021 Segunda División championship, marking its first promotion to the top flight since 1908.
