Allen Media Group, also known as Entertainment Studios, is a privately owned company headquartered in Los Angeles, US. Founded in 1993 by businessman Byron Allen, the company operates with approximately 320 employees. It was initially involved in the production and distribution of first-run television series for American television syndication. Under its Entertainment Studios Networks division, the company also operates a group of digital cable and satellite channels, broadcasting a mix of original programs and its syndicated content.
On June 25, 2026, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) board of trustees approved a $172,500 allocation for due diligence concerning the potential acquisition of KITV and KIKU from Allen Media Group. This approval came in a 5-4 vote, following the board's rejection of the proposal last month. Previously, on June 23, 2026, Allen Media Group's subsidiary Freestyle Digital Media released the drama feature "Moonwater" across North American digital HD, internet, cable, DVD, and satellite platforms. Earlier, on June 16, 2026, Freestyle Digital Media also launched the music documentary "Jewel’s Catch One."
