Allen Media Group, also known as Entertainment Studios, is a privately owned company headquartered in Los Angeles, US. Founded in 1993 by businessman Byron Allen, the company operates with approximately 320 employees. It was initially involved in the production and distribution of first-run television series for American television syndication. Under its Entertainment Studios Networks division, the company also operates a group of digital cable and satellite channels, broadcasting a mix of original programs and its syndicated content.
Freestyle Digital Media released the crime comedy feature "THIS IS OUR CITY" on North American digital HD internet DVD cable and satellite platforms on August 21, 2026. On August 18, P&G and Allen Media Group’s HBCU GO announced the return of the P&G HBCYOU Campus Life Tour for the 2026–27 academic year, building upon a shared mission to celebrate HBCU students and strengthen campus communities. Also on August 18, Freestyle Digital Media released the psychological horror thriller "DEMENTIUM" to North American VOD platforms. Previously, on August 11, Freestyle Digital Media launched the horror feature "BLOOD MAGICK," featuring Victoria De Mare, on North American digital platforms. This follows news from August 5 that Allen Media Group assumed responsibility for selling BuzzFeed Inc.'s advertising inventory. BuzzFeed reported its second-quarter 2026 revenue fell 21.8% year-over-year to $36.3 million.
