Allianz Indonesia, a privately owned company founded in 1981, operates in Indonesia with a current workforce of 1210 employees. Initially establishing a representative office in 1981, the company expanded its operations in 1989 with the creation of PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia, focusing on general insurance. In 1996, PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia was formed to offer life, health, and pension insurance products. Both entities introduced sharia insurance services in 2006. Further expansion occurred in 2014 with the establishment of Allianz Health & Corporate Solutions, dedicated to individual and group health insurance.
