Allianz Indonesia, a privately owned company headquartered in Indonesia, was founded in 1981 and operates with approximately 1,210 employees, focusing on the insurance sector. The company's operations in Indonesia began with a representative office in 1981. It established PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia in 1989 to offer general insurance, followed by PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia in 1996 to expand into life, health, and pension insurance. In 2006, both Allianz Utama and Allianz Life commenced sharia insurance services. Allianz Health & Corporate Solutions was subsequently formed in 2014 to address health insurance requirements for individuals and groups.
