Alma Films, a privately owned company headquartered in Bolivia, was founded in 1993 and employs approximately 10 individuals. The company specializes in entertainment content rights and functions as an independent film production house and audio-visual creative agency. Established by filmmaker Marcos Loayza and operating out of the Calacoto district in La Paz, Alma Films focuses on the end-to-end development, financing, and production of feature-length narrative films, historical documentaries, commercial spots, and branded content for national and international markets. Its cinematic productions have represented Bolivia at global film festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival, Rotterdam, Toulouse, Havana, and Tokyo.
