Amor & Lujo

Amor & Lujo, also known as Amor y Lujo, is a privately owned company headquartered in Venezuela. Founded in 1990, it employs approximately 10 individuals and specializes in entertainment content rights. Functioning as an audiovisual production company, its studio was established at the end of 2016 by director/producer Andrea H. Catalá and screenwriter/producer Almudena Monzú, later joined by filmmaker Javier Ferreiro. The company develops and produces cinematic content with inclusive narratives, focusing on women-led stories, LGBTQI+ perspectives, new erotic imaginaries, and the subversion of traditional film genres. It maintains cultural ties connecting Europe and Latin America, and is involved in creative labs including Berlinale Talents, EAVE, the Rotterdam Lab, and the Torino Film Lab.
