News Summary:

On February 19, 2026, Amphenol RF introduced USCAR-compliant Mini-FAKRA connectors into its portfolio, designed to support new vehicle designs. This multi-port solution is available in various PCB and cable-mount configurations, including straight and right-angle single, dual, and quad-port variations. Previously, on February 17, Amphenol RF expanded its cable assembly range with new MMCX solutions, intended to provide reliable signal integrity for compact wireless communication modules. These assemblies feature IP67-rated bulkhead interfaces, including SMA, TNC, RP-TNC, and N-Type straight jacks. The RG-316 cable supports electrical performance up to 6 GHz and offers improved shielding and temperature resistance, making the assemblies suitable for environments requiring durability and sealing. Earlier, on February 5, the company launched a new IP67 FAKRA straight crimp rear mount bulkhead plug for its automotive and industrial portfolio. This plug supports industry-standard RG-178 cable, is color-coded, mechanically keyed for easy installation, and comes in various key codes, including the universal Z code.
