On September 21, 2026, Angelbird's fourth-generation CFexpress Type A memory cards became available, designed to handle the sustained write speeds required for high-bitrate video and Sony’s X-OCN RAW recording. Previously, on September 19, the company launched its AV PRO MK3 Type A card, which utilizes the CFexpress 4.0 standard to achieve a maximum read speed of 1870MB/s and a peak write rate of 1850MB/s. This line is built around the Sony FX5 and its X-OCN RAW and high frame rate modes, with capacities ranging from 200GB up to 1.6TB and VPG800 certification on the AV PRO models.
