Anglian Water Services is a privately owned UK utility company employing approximately 3,500 people. Headquartered in the UK, it provides water supply and wastewater recycling services to over six million residential and commercial customers across eastern England and Hartlepool. The company serves a geographically large area, which is also one of the driest in England and Wales, receiving significantly less rainfall than the national average.
Anglian Water's @one Alliance completed upgrades to the water recycling centre in Towcester on an unspecified date to mitigate flood risks and accommodate future growth. On an unspecified date, Anglian Water announced a £4 million investment in the Yaxley catchment area to address flooding issues at the pumping station near Windsor Road and Main Street. A report revealed that sewage discharge into rivers within national parks is double the rate outside these areas. Anglian Water raised objections regarding sewage in relation to a proposed film studio development in Norfolk by Roger Gawn, which received approval despite these concerns on an unspecified date more than two years after initial submission. Finally, Ofwat confirmed that Anglian Water will pay a portion of a combined £86.8 million penalty alongside South West Water for breaching wastewater treatment obligations on an unspecified date.
