News Summary:

Annapolis Symphony Orchestra announced on September 4, 2026, a program change for its November 6 and 7, 2026, concerts, stating that it and violinist Vadim Repin mutually decided not to proceed with their planned collaboration for Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. Previously, on August 19, 2026, the orchestra, in partnership with Creative and the City of Annapolis, launched "An Exhibition of Sight & Sound" at City Dock. This public art installation transforms construction fencing into an art gallery, showcasing photography by local professionals and portraiture by Annapolis-area visual artists to encourage exploration of the downtown waterfront. The free, walkable outdoor exhibition will remain accessible through Spring 2027.
