News Summary:

On April 19, 2026, the Asian Handball Federation conducted an IHF A-License Coaching Course. Earlier on April 2, the Federation invited Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to participate in the Men’s IHF Trophy – Central Asia Zone III. This followed an invitation on March 17 to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Yemen for a separate Men's IHF Trophy event. Previously, on March 16, the Federation postponed and rescheduled the 28th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, citing current circumstances and prevailing regional conditions amid the ongoing United States–Israel–Iran conflict. The championship was initially scheduled to take place from April 6 to 16, 2026, in Kuwait City. The Federation had announced on February 14 that Al-Kuwait Sports Club was awarded the hosting rights for this championship.
