Previously, on August 6, Check Point Research presented four times at Black Hat USA 2026, highlighting vulnerabilities discovered in a decade-old Windows driver, a complex malware format, and the underlying structures of AI agent frameworks and their sandboxes. Also on August 6, Check Point joined the Open Secure AI Alliance, an initiative launched by NVIDIA, contributing open research, objective benchmarks, and customer-controlled runtime protection to advance open and measurable enterprise AI security. The company further noted that while AI is seen as a force multiplier for business, the cybersecurity community recognizes its dual nature, making trust a critical battleground.
