AZ Medien AG acquired the remaining 35% stake in CH Media from Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) on April 2, 2026, making the Wanner family the full owner. Pestalozzi advised AZ Medien AG on the transaction. Previously, on November 20, 2025, Peter Wanner, publisher and president of the board of directors, sold the media house AZ Medien to his children, Michael, Florian, and Anna Wanner. Peter Wanner maintained his role as president of the board of directors, while Michael Wanner, CEO of CH Media, received the majority of the voting rights in the transfer.
