Azercosmos

Azercosmos is a state-owned public legal entity headquartered in Azerbaijan. Founded in 2010, the company employs approximately 230 individuals. As the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azercosmos is the successor of Azercosmos Open Joint Stock Company and functions as the first satellite operator in the Caucasus region entirely owned by the Government of Azerbaijan. The company provides broadband and broadcast services to customers in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Central Asia through its telecommunication satellite Azerspace-1. Additionally, Azercosmos delivers satellite imagery and geoinformation services utilizing its Earth Observation satellite Azersky.
