On September 17, 2025, and again on September 19, 2025, Babcock International Group PLC purchased its own ordinary shares of 60 pence each through Jefferies International Limited. Babcock International Group also announced a new eight-year, $250 million contract with the Australian Commonwealth Government. This contract will provide two mission-modified helicopters, air crews, and ongoing aircraft maintenance to the Australian Border Force, extending a 30-year partnership. Additionally, Babcock International Group's LGE division received approval in principle from Lloyd’s Register for its ecoCPTR onboard carbon capture solution. The company also recently began a UK-wide tour to connect with colleagues and highlight its community impact while increasing recruitment.
