BAFTA Scotland opened public voting for the BAFTA Scotland Audience Award, in partnership with Screen Scotland, on September 24, announcing six nominees for the "Favourite Scot on Screen" category. The public can cast votes until October 30, with the winner scheduled for announcement at the BAFTA Scotland Awards ceremony on November 15. The organization also confirmed that the complete list of nominees for the BAFTA Scotland Awards will be revealed on October 1. Previously, on September 17, Carol Vorderman MBE received the Siân Phillips Award for Outstanding Contribution 2026. The award recognized Vorderman's background, noting her upbringing in "abject poverty" in North Wales, where she excelled in comprehensive school.
