Bite Latvia plans to participate in a pilot project to consolidate overhead lines in Riga's Plavnieki neighborhood, collaborating with other telecommunications companies. In mid-September, Bite Latvia disconnected its 3G network in Daugavpils, Saldus, Talsi, and Augsdaugava municipalities, continuing a nationwide shutdown already completed in Zemgale, Vidzeme, and Kurzeme regions. The complete 3G network shutdown is expected by spring 2026. Since the beginning of the year, Bite Latvia deployed 44 new base stations in various regions and along motorways.
