British American Tobacco p.l.c., also known as BAT, is a publicly owned company headquartered in the UK. Established in 1902, the company employs approximately 46,630 individuals. It manufactures and sells cigarettes, tobacco, and other nicotine products, including electronic cigarettes. As of 2025, it is the second-largest tobacco company in the world based on net sales.
