On August 8, Bayer 04 committed to continuity, extending the contracts of Fernando Carro and Simon Rolfes ahead of schedule. Werner Wenning, Chair of the Bayer 04 Shareholders’ Committee, praised their outstanding work in developing the club, leading to its greatest sporting successes and sustainable growth. This followed the July 23 announcement that s2-Software would remain the Bayer 04 Women’s team sleeve sponsor, extending their partnership, a development welcomed by Women’s Football Manager Linda Schöttler.
