On April 1, 2026, Bible Broadcasting Network filed a $4.2 million deal to acquire hot AC station “Mix 100.9” WLNK from Urban One, adding to its existing Charlotte religious stations WYFQ-FM and AM (93.5/930). This transaction follows an announcement on March 30, 2026, by Radio One to sell WLNK to the network. Previously, on August 14, 2025, High Street Residential filed to rezone more than seven acres owned by Bible Broadcasting Network in south Charlotte, proposing a 380-unit apartment and retail project at Carmel Commons Boulevard and Pineville-Matthews Road.
