Bible Broadcasting Network filed a $4.2 million deal to acquire hot AC “Mix 100.9” WLNK from Urban One, as reported on April 1, 2026. This acquisition is part of Radio One's broader sale of the "Mix 100.9/99.3" WLNK/WMXG duo to separate Christian networks, with Bible Broadcasting Network specifically purchasing 100.9 WLNK in Indian Trail, NC. The network currently operates religious WYFQ-FM & AM (93.5/930) in Charlotte. Previously, on August 14, 2025, Texas-based developer High Street Residential filed to rezone more than seven acres of land owned by the Bible Broadcasting Network in south Charlotte. The proposed project for the site, located at Carmel Commons Boulevard and Pineville-Matthews Road, includes a 380-unit apartment and retail development.
