Employing approximately 70 people as of 2023, BWB's primary activity is the organization and oversight of wheelchair basketball spectator sports within the United Kingdom.
British Wheelchair Basketball (BWB) announced a team for the 2025 FISU World University Games in Germany. Kukri Sports extended its partnership with BWB, demonstrating continued support for inclusive sports in the UK. A new partnership was also formed between BWB and Ball Out 3x3, aiming to further integrate wheelchair basketball into the UK’s largest 3x3 basketball tournament. The 2024/25 National Championship Finals concluded on 18th March 2025 in Worcester, crowning champions across various divisions. The event, held from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th March 2025 at the University of Worcester Arena, featured twenty teams competing.
