Broadcast Electronics collaborated with GeoBroadcast Solutions and Radio Activo Broadcasting to implement ZoneCasting technology for station KADD La Mejor 93.5, utilizing Broadcast Electronics' ETX transmitters with power options ranging from 600 watts to 30 kW. The company also hired Joe Myers as director of Software Solutions, responsible for AudioVault, The Radio Experience TRE+ lines, and the partnership with NewsBoss newsroom software. Later, Broadcast Electronics announced the promotion of Joe Myers to this newly created director of software solutions position; he previously served as regional sales manager. In March 2006, an agreement was announced between Broadcast Electronics and Axia Audio for IP-Audio connectivity with AudioVAULT and other Broadcast Electronics products. The first commercial FM geotargeting installation in the United States, using Broadcast Electronics equipment, went live.
