Cable Network Egypt

Cable Network Egypt, also known as CNE, is a privately owned Egyptian shareholding company headquartered in Egypt. Founded in 1991 and employing approximately 970 individuals, the company focuses on cable and satellite programming. It was established by the Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU) in co-operation with private sector shareholders. The company functions as the licensed holder for the encryption and distribution of most Pay-TV operators in the region, including Orbit Showtime Network (OSN), Arab Radio and Television (ART), and beIN Network.
