CacheFly, a privately owned company headquartered in the US, was founded in 2002 and operates with approximately 20 employees. The company runs a Content Delivery Network (CDN) with a focus on Quality of Experience (QoE) for digital platforms globally.
On November 24, 2025, CacheFly’s Matt Levine, in an SVG New Sponsor Spotlight, discussed the evolving role of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and the company's focus on prioritizing throughput to deliver data as fast as possible for live video. Levine noted that CacheFly, a CDN technology provider for two decades, pioneered the use of TCP Anycast in 2002 and now serves over 5,000 clients across nearly 100 countries, operating with more than 75 strategically-placed global Points of Presence (POPs). This followed an earlier announcement on September 9, 2025, that CacheFly partnered with Red5 to deliver low-latency streaming solutions, incorporating DVR functionality and global CDN reach.
