Cambodia Film Commission, also known as CFC, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Cambodia. Founded in 2009, with approximately 10 employees, the organization reported $1.4M in revenue as of 2023. It serves as the primary national agency for facilitating film production in the Kingdom of Cambodia, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. The CFC acts as a one-stop-shop for both international and local filmmakers, aiming to professionalize the domestic film industry while positioning Cambodia as a global filming destination. Its operations include supporting major international productions, such as Angelina Jolie’s First They Killed My Father, and preserving the country’s cinematic heritage through the Bophana Center.
