Officially known as le Club de hockey Canadien, the team, which employs approximately 250 people, competes in the NHL's Atlantic Division within the Eastern Conference. The Trois-Rivières Lions, the Montreal Canadiens' ECHL affiliate, won the Kelly Cup on Saturday, April 29th, marking their first championship and bringing the trophy to Canada for the first time in six years.
