Renesas Electronics India Private Limited inaugurated its first 3-nanometer chip design centers in Noida and Bengaluru on an unspecified date. These centers will design chips at the 3 nm node, a technology offering higher performance and energy efficiency. Renesas Electronics subsequently announced that its Noida and Bengaluru teams have completed the design and are now sampling 3 nm chips for automotive applications. According to Malini Narayanamoorthi, India country manager and VP of Renesas, these are the first 3 nm automotive chips designed in India.
