Cetin, a privately owned company operating under parent companies PPF Group and e&, is headquartered in Czechia. Functioning as a wholesale provider of active and passive telecommunications infrastructure services, Cetin operates across the Central and Eastern Europe region. The company was formed from the structural separation of infrastructure business from O2 Czech Republic and three Telenor branded operators in Eastern Europe, and currently represents four CETIN operating companies located in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia.

This initiative follows CETIN a.s.'s contract modification on July 21 for engineering and construction works related to the "Minitendr 3. etapa – Kouty Část 1 - FIX" project in Czechia. Earlier, on June 23, CETIN a.s. also modified a framework agreement concerning engineering and construction works for electronic communication networks across Czechia. These developments occurred shortly after O2 Czech Republic and Cetin completed mobile network expansion projects on June 19, leveraging EU subsidies from the National Recovery Plan to deploy 20 senders and extend 5G network coverage to 32 rural sites nationwide.
