Chauvet is a privately owned company headquartered in the US, founded in 1989 and employing approximately 200 people, operating in the Electric Lighting Equipment Manufacturing sector. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of entertainment lighting products and related accessories, serving all sectors of the lighting market.
On February 18, 2026, stage designer Martin Hruska utilized CHAUVET lighting for Czech singer Olga Lounova's return to concert touring, which began last December following her hiatus for COVID lockdown, pregnancy, and winning The Dakar rally. Previously, on February 11, the Saadiyat Nights 2026 concert season launched in the UAE with performances by Diana Ross and Seal, backed by a lighting design incorporating 138 Chauvet Professional fixtures. This followed the company's expansion in Sweden on February 10, when DILUMEN became the official Swedish distributor for CHAUVET Professional lighting products. Starfelt concurrently took on distribution for ChamSys QuickQ and GeNetix control solutions in the region. These distribution changes stemmed from Chauvet's recent success in Sweden, highlighted by its role in lighting hip hop artist Ant Wan's final concert at Stockholm's Tele2 arena and acclaimed Swedish lighting designer Tobias Rylander's work for Childish Gambino's "The New World Tour."
