The organization functions as the governing body of volleyball in the Republic of China (Taiwan), representing the nation in both the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball and the Asian Volleyball Confederation. Furthermore, the association is responsible for managing Taiwan's men's and women's national volleyball teams and organizes the Enterprise Volleyball League.
