Cinepolis will release the animated feature film *Mahaprabhu Jagannath* across India on August 28, 2026, following a legal victory. The film, designed to instill devotion and cultural values, marks Odisha’s first animated feature and extends the *Jay Jagannath* series. Previously, on July 30, Reliance Jio enhanced its standalone Rs 200 OTT Pass by integrating a nationwide theatrical cinema discount in partnership with Cinepolis. This updated pack, originally introduced in May, now combines 15 subscription video-on-demand services with movie ticket savings. Earlier, on July 28, Cinepolis Shaan and the renovated Premiere Gold were expected to commence operations in August, contributing to Mumbai’s exhibition sector. This follows the July 9 launch by Openbank México, in partnership with Cinépolis and Mastercard, of the Cinépolis by Openbank credit card. Available from July 30, this fully digital, no-annual-fee product aims to expand financial inclusion, particularly among younger consumers, by combining everyday spending with entertainment rewards.
