On September 9, 2026, Claro Brasil signed a sponsorship and technology supplier deal with Nubank Parque in Sao Paulo, the home stadium of Brazilian football club Palmeiras. The agreement will bring commercial 5.5G and a Wi-Fi 6 network to the venue. Previously, on August 14, Claro Brasil had signed on as the official technology supplier and sponsor for Sao Paulo's Nubank Parque arena, committing to a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade. This upgrade includes a commercial 5.5G (5G Advanced) network leveraging mmWave spectrum, alongside a high-density Wi-Fi 6 network designed to support 65,000 concurrent user connections across 792 access points. Earlier, on August 10, Claro Brasil deployed a 5G network at the Christ the Redeemer sanctuary in Rio de Janeiro. This deployment also included upgrades to its existing 3G and 4G coverage, establishing Claro as the first mobile operator to provide 5G at the monument atop Corcovado Mountain.
