On March 3, 2026, CoreSite announced that Community IX, an Internet Exchange provider, would establish its Florida Internet Exchange (FL-IX) and Northern Virginia IX (CIX-NoVA) within CoreSite's Miami (MI1) and Northern Virginia (VA1) data centers. This expansion allows Community IX to offer services across more than 25 sites in the Southern Florida, Northern Virginia, and Atlanta markets, supporting over 225 connected networks and more than 35 Tbps of connected capacity.
