This followed the launch of a South Asian IBD Needs Assessment Survey on August 5, inviting individuals identifying as South Asian and living with IBD or supporting a loved one to share experiences anonymously, aiming to shape future programs and resources. On July 24, the organization highlighted the story of Laura and Pascal, a couple living with Crohn's disease, emphasizing how research impacted their ability to start a family despite initial concerns. Earlier in July, on the 17th, Crohn's and Colitis Canada featured Chantal's 17-year journey with ulcerative colitis, focusing on the discovery of friendship through a shared diagnosis.
