Cuatro is a privately owned Spanish free-to-air television channel launched in November 2005. It is owned by Mediaset España Comunicación, the Spanish subsidiary of the Italian Mediaset group. The channel broadcasts on TV frequencies licensed to the previous owner PRISA TV in 1990 and previously used for the analogue transmission of its pay-per-view channel Canal+. Cuatro's headquarters are in Spain, and its main product is broadcast television and radio.
