CueScript announced the death of founder Brian Larter on an unspecified date in 2025, at age 58. Larter, a popular figure in the broadcast industry, had been diagnosed with a rare pancreatic cancer in 2018 and spent the following five years undergoing treatment. Separately, on March 11, 2025, Kamil Pietrzyk, CueScript's support and projects manager, discussed his career in the broadcast industry with TVBEurope. On March 19, 2025, CueScript introduced the CSMPPB Perfect Balance Plate, a new tool designed to improve teleprompter system setup efficiency at the NAB 2025 show.
