Czech Fire Rescue Service is a State Owned entity headquartered in Czechia. It has approximately 340 employees. The service operates within the scope of fire protection, crisis management, civil emergency planning, population protection, and the Integrated Rescue System, with its activities, tasks, and competence established by acts negotiated and agreed by the Parliament of the Czech Republic in July 2000, effective since January 1, 2001.
