Decca Classics recently announced "Lindisfarne: Beyond the Causeway," an album by composer and saxophonist Christian Forshaw and soprano Grace Davidson, scheduled for release on October 2. In June, the label signed pianist Tianyao Lyu following her performances at the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, where she received the Best Concerto Prize. Earlier, on May 8, Decca Classics announced mezzo-soprano Aigul Akhmetshina's new album, "Mujer Fatal," recorded with conductor Antonio Pappano, set to precede her debut as Dalila at London’s Royal Opera House. This followed the March 5 release of "Take a Bow," a personally selected retrospective collection from British cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, celebrating his 75th birthday. The album, which marked Lloyd Webber's return to the recording studio after 12 years, included the single "Jasmine," released on April 3, and the full album on April 10.
