Digital Alert Systems, a privately owned company, is headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1954, with approximately 20 employees, the company specializes in Pro AV controls and infrastructure. It functions as a provider of emergency information solutions, including EAS equipment and cable TV switching and management products.
At the 2026 TAB Show, Digital Alert Systems will highlight and demo its new DAS-Link AIR, an over-the-air common alert protocol (CAP) dissemination system designed for securely transferring validated alert information over ATSC transmissions, set for July 30, 2026. The DAS-Link AIR functions as a secure data gateway for ATSC environments. Previously, on July 23, 2026, the company announced that its DASDEC™ Emergency Alert System (EAS) platform already supports the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) new 15-character password requirement. This capability allows customers to comply immediately with the FCC's new cybersecurity rules for EAS participants, outlined in FCC 26-38, without needing software updates. The DASDEC platform's current features include support for passwords up to 16 characters, multiple layers of security, and enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
