TVU Networks and DTV Innovations showcased their strategic technology integration, which offers broadcasters an efficient and scalable IP-based alternative to traditional satellite distribution, at SET Expo 2026 in São Paulo on August 18. This followed the integration's Latin American debut on August 17 at the booth of CIS Group, a strategic advisor and systems integrator, also at SET Expo 2026, where a live demonstration was featured. Earlier, on August 14, DTV Innovations, a U.S.-based provider of broadcast signal distribution and ATSC 3.0/DTV+ technology, announced this strategic technology integration with TVU Networks, a global leader in cloud- and IP-based live video solutions, designed to give broadcasters an efficient and scalable alternative to traditional satellite distribution. Previously, on January 30, DTV Innovations appointed Sean P. Devine as director of software engineering, a move the Elgin, Ill.-based company stated was part of its increased investment in research and development.
