On April 28, 2026, Edge showcased its SHADOW 25 jet-powered loitering munition at SAHA 2026, highlighting its long-range strike capability with a 250 km reach and speeds of 400 km/h for rapid response against time-sensitive threats. The previous day, on April 27, Edge reported significant progress in defence manufacturing at Make It in the Emirates 2026, having completed over 68 ‘Industry 4.0’ transformation projects across 28 production facilities. This effort doubled production capacity across 13 entities, generated AED 596 million (USD 162.4 million) in-country value in 2025, and achieved a USD 7.96 billion order intake for the same year. Earlier, on April 15, Edge signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indra Group to jointly explore the development and production of next-generation radar systems in Brazil. On the same day, Edge also established a partnership with the Brazilian Army to create a framework for the experimentation of next-generation weaponry by specialized troops, aiming to drive innovation, training, and combat capability for the Brazilian Land Force. This followed an April 14 MoU with the Brazilian Navy to establish a cooperation framework aimed at assessing and strengthening the Navy's cyber protection capabilities.
