On October 2, 2026, EDGE completed the development of the MK 82 Penetrator aircraft munition, a weapon for hardened targets designed and built in the UAE by LAHAB, the company's medium- to large-calibre ammunition producer. Earlier, on October 1, EDGE Group's Senior Vice President International Business, Miles Chambers, stated on the sidelines of the ADEX exhibition in Baku that the company views Azerbaijan as a potential regional defense cooperation hub. Previously, on September 30, TKMS and EDGE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore joint underwater surveillance and protection capabilities, aiming to integrate multiple platforms and sensor systems for improved subsurface situational awareness, as part of wider Germany-UAE defense cooperation.
