Its core business focuses on content delivery network (CDN) services, utilizing a network of over 1300 points of presence (PoPs) across the Asia-Pacific, China, Middle East and Africa regions, and globally. EdgeNext distinguishes itself by dedicating its network solely to CDN traffic and incorporating cloud-native security features such as anti-DDoS protection and web application firewalls. The company also offers edge computing services including edge compute services (ECS) and bare metal servers.
EdgeNext partnered with iXAfrica Data Centres to combine EdgeNext's global edge platform with iXAfrica's infrastructure in Nairobi, Kenya, offering services to enterprise clients. A separate partnership between EdgeNext and iXAfrica Data Centres aims to drive digital infrastructure growth in East Africa. EdgeNext launched upgraded edge cloud servers (ECS 2.0), adding infrastructure in twelve countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Mongolia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Libya, and Australia.
