On January 11, 2026, Egmont announced Eva Berneke will join its board of directors in March 2026, succeeding Martin Enderle, who departs after 12 years. Berneke brings executive and board experience from international companies, and will support Egmont’s continued development within the media landscape. Previously, on January 6, Norwegian broadcaster TV 2, a part of Egmont, launched a 'More Football' bundle for subscribers to its 'TV 2 Play' streaming service. The new option, priced at NOK 99 per month, is available to add to existing 'TV 2 Play Favoritt' and 'TV 2 Play Total' packages, following an expanded football distribution agreement with Viaplay.
