On March 5, 2026, Brookfield initiated a sale process for its Canadian home services provider, Enercare, according to sources familiar with the situation. Sell-side advisors CIBC and Scotiabank circulated marketing materials to prospective buyers at the end of January, commencing the first round of bidding for Enercare’s Canadian water heater and HVAC leasing business.
