The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority said it has received a draft notification of Accenture's acquisition of sole control over Mjolner Informatics from Norlys. The watchdog has yet to decide whether or not the merger is eligible for processing under the simplified procedure. Norlys appoints former Coop CEO to board of consumer services division

Danish operator Norlys has announced the appointment from 01 June of Kraen Oestergaard Nielsen to the board of directors of its consumer services division. From 2020 to 2024, he was CEO at the Coop, having begun working on the retailer's new IT platform in 2016 when he was CTO. Using that experience, he helped to establish the software company Lobyco, which serves international retailers.
