Norlys sells IT arm Mjolner Informatics to Accenture
Danish telecoms and utility group Norlys has announced the sale of its IT subsidiary Mjolner Informatics to Accenture and said 400 employees are expected to transfer to the new owner. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals, including from the competition authorities. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Norlys appoints former Coop CEO to board of consumer services division
Danish operator Norlys has announced the appointment from 01 June of Kraen Oestergaard Nielsen to the board of directors of its consumer services division. From 2020 to 2024, he was CEO at the Coop, having begun working on the retailer's new IT platform in 2016 when he was CTO. Using that experience, he helped to establish the software company Lobyco, which serves international retailers.

Norlys names former Siemens Denmark CEO to board of consumer services division
Danish telecoms and energy group Norlys has announced the appointment of Jukka Pertola to the board of directors of its consumer services division, replacing Ulf Lund, who moved to TV2 last December. Pertola is chairman of the board of directors of companies such as GN Group, Cowi and Siemens Gamesa Denmark. His previous roles include CEO of Siemens Denmark until 2017, and chairman of the board of insurer Tryg from 2018 until 2026.

Norlys Digital integrations and telecoms market competition dent group FY pre-tax margins
Danish group Norlys said its Norlys Digital telecoms and TV division was a particular factor behind a 6.5 percentage point drop in the group EBT margin in the 2025 financial year to minus 6.6 percent. This was because of high integration costs for EWII Fibernet and Telia Denmark and a weak performance in a very competitive market. Earnings before tax at the group were negative at DKK 1.08 billion, compared with an DKK 11 million loss before tax in 2024.
