Fairchild Television, a privately owned company headquartered in Canada, was established in 1993 and employs approximately 150 individuals. Operating as a subsidiary under Fairchild Media Group, described as the largest Chinese media conglomerate outside of Asia, the company specializes in Broadcast Media Production and Distribution. Fairchild Television delivers Chinese entertainment programs for over 22 hours daily through cables and satellites, and also produces diverse local programs and annual special events, including the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant and the New Talent Singing Awards.
